Bed was extra late and TV had several channels to choose from. Staff was quite pleasant and helpful

There was a comedy show AY live and parking was difficult. Check in could be faster

The location

The property is old, needs an upgrade/ basic renovation. The amount charged for the rooms does not equal the current standard.

The only consolation was that the receptionist were nice.

I couldn’t get a room at the main building so I stayed at the Gardens, it was a long day late at night, I was exhausted and already feeling sleepy. The first room I was given was a total disaster, after the Porter presumably “checked” the room to certify that it was okay and had carried my luggages to the room. I made a quick check to see if the room was indeed in an okay condition with everything working, to my greatest surprise, I stepped on a pool of water in the restroom. My first thought was that perhaps it came from the shower area, alas no, the roof was leaking water and somehow the management missed this visible leak from the ceiling that I’m guessing may have been reported by other guests. So I called reception to report the issue, when the Porter came back to check the issue, his naive question to me was “I checked the room and it was in a good state, did you touch anything that caused the leaking”. My mind was blown by his question, because Sir that’s your job to ensure everything was working fine and that the room was safe. Receptionist apologized and moved me to a different room. Turned out that at the new room, the refrigerator wasn’t working. The next morning I requested to switch to a different room completely. (P.S My siblings at the main building also had issues with their room ceiling leaking as well. Luckily they moved their room. Had issues with the restaurant being in another building from my lodged building, it would be better if there was restaurant in every building so guests don’t have to walk a distance just to eat. Breakfast buffet didn’t taste great, plus their process of checking guest could be better rather than their current process that makes guests feel a little embarrassed with eyes of others on you. Perhaps a device where guest can swipe their room key to check if their room fee includes breakfast service. In addition, why is the breakfast for one person alone when hotel room reservation/booking is for two?

Serene environment, clean and well maintained and the staff’s are very respectful and good
